Yeah running your nails against a whiteboard or a smart board just doesn't have the same effect. My mathematics building in college still had chalk though, it hadn't really been renovated since the 70s. Looked pretty groovy in the classrooms, lots of fiberglass and stainless steel. They kept it nice at least

Ours was canvas.ewu.edu.... they just made it a subnet of the main edu domain

 

Oh yeah I remember Instructure. That’s the company who owns Canvas. We had Moodle for the first two years of High School, then it switched to Canvas.

Not hard really...probably no more difficult than finding a hooker. Just gotta be willing to look in the right places and ask lol

The thing about that though is if the smog shop gets caught in the act or busted after the fact, you can get busted too. I think they only fine citizens up to $1k but the smog shops get hit hard. Not as easy to do as it was 10 years ago but still not that difficult

Supposedly the DMV does 'smog checkpoints' and that's how they catch a lot of people cheating smog (if you passed smog recently and then fail a smog checkpoint = red flag). But I've yet to ever see a smog checkpoint anywhere.

 

There was one here in the Bay last year. My friend sent me a picture. It was in Union City, the city over from where I live.

 

yeah I know a few guys from norcal have said they've seen them, supposedly they're around here too but I've just never seen one or been stopped by one
