Well if you live in San Francisco, $100k combined income is considered poverty.

 

You’re gonna have to pay me more than that to clean needles, poop, and bodily fluids from trains.

 

As part of my job, I talk to a lot of tourists. I answer a lot of questions, most notably “where is the restroom”

I point at the sidewalk.

 

$50 - $70k is not enough to support more than yourself in CA. $50k is rent-a-cheap-room in a crappy apartment salary. $70k you can get by on your own but you're not going to be living above your means.

I believe it. My brother and his wife (teacher) were making modest salaries here in CA and struggled bad. They moved to Missouri several months ago and make considerably less altogether but get by just fine now. They even bought a nice house in Liberty, MO. Just goes to show

But...now they have to live in Missouri. So, yeah lol
