FINALLY on the road again. it was nice hanging out in carlsbad for the last 2 weeks but im so happy to be back traveling. currently in williams arizona and tomorrow morning we are going to THE GRAND CANYON!! Super excited and nerding out about the big touristy crack in the ground but idgaf lol. then we are headed back east on route 66 which should be a ton of fun. unfourtunatly my mothers health issues are putting a burden on my family in TN so i will be headed back there by this weekend to look after her for a few days while my dad is out of town. once he gets back next week, we will be on the road again to new orleans and probably florida and alabama. and before the new year we still have to go house hunt in Michigan, spend the holidays with our familys, and make it back up to new york december 11th for out court date where we get to sue our twat of a former landlord for the thousands of dollars she still owes us :) so busy month or so ahead of us but the trip isnt over yet!

We visited Grand Canyon back in May this year and thought it was awesome, truly amazing to see - there’s a reason millions visit it each year.

Stayed in Williams too - not much to do there as you’ve probably noticed but if you have time take a cruise up Bill Williams Lookout trail, nice view at an elevation of around 9000 ft. Not challenging just switchbacks up a mountain - our 2wd rental did just fine lol.

You could take the Grand Canyon Railway out of Williams, up to the grand canyon. My inlaws did it a few years ago and said it was nice. They do an old-fashioned train robbery along the way.

More like Afghanistan. It doesn't have the high elevation like Afghanistan but it definitely has a lot of hills you need to climb in full kit. Been there too many times for training.

Also, we get less rain than NYC.

I love this little guy probably more than any human lol. He’s a rescue that somebody abused and abandoned as a puppy and I want him to spend the rest of his life having as much fun as possible and sniffing all the sniffs

@markus30 I forgot to tell you. I see you left your nuclear shrimp in my fridge after your departure. :D Waitress seemed concerned for your safety when I went in there last week.
