First off it's written so it'd be libel... If you are going to play lawyer at least use the right phrasing.

One company admits issues and does right by customers.(company A)

Another company acknowledges issues, blames different devices and blocks a customer from further commenting. (Company B)

Just out of principal I would never purchase from company B.
I don't care how good their products might be. A company who treats customers like shit; is a shit company.

It's pretty simple. Is it something they advertise on the product? https://store.switchpros.com/sp-9100-switch-panel-power-system/

Yes it is. So it should work or they should warn you it's not going to work on certain phones if that's the case. I have a 9100 and love it, and have a Samsung phone but almost never use the app so I haven't seen the issue. The app does suck though. The functionality is something most do seem to like and it's not like phone apps are going away. They need to invest more money into getting developers and get it fixed.

Have you tried the app on a non-samsung device?

Yepp. I am luckily and have a iPhone I use at work. I used that to setup the functions that require bluetooth and the iOS app worked just fine.

This is the biggest reason I made this post. I'm not quite sure why people are so adamant about defending a company that advertises falsities. I mean, I get it's somewhat of a silly complaint, but some functions do require the app to use. Honestly, the bluetooth functionality is what sold me on the device. Being able to be in bed and turn on camp lights without getting inside the cab would be a great bonus before crawling out of the RTT.

Exact reason why I bought mine. If I hear something I can turn on the lights in an instant.

Shareholders don't care, they'll shovel dollars into that furnace right up until the company collapses. In this market made of cheap money and questionable bond ratings it could go one for a while.

Here is the thing - If the app works well on all devices other than Samsung, you can't really be upset with them. The way they chose to respond could have been better, but your response could also have been more accurate - Technically you are right, and technically they are right in deleting your comment because it is inaccurate. (they have a right to, just like you have a right to leave the comment)
Instagram is a marketing tool for switch pros.

That being said - I am confident that you can get the app working on your samsung phone if you root the device and put a non-samsung rom on the phone.

The nut swinging in here some are doing for switchpro is insane.

I have no idea why some folks defend vendors on here so adamantly when they clearly are handling things wrong. Must be some sort of Stockholm syndrome

In response I too will become a vendor, but I'm not marketing anything unique. Instead I'm just going to drop-ship your poop in a box to my customers after I put my 50% upcharge on it.

Get it here, folks. Crap in a tupperware. It's way more gnar because I have an Instagram account, or something.
