WTF KM3’s don’t come in a 285/75/17

Nice! Are those the -12 or -38 offset rays? I have the -38 offset and mine measure smaller. I as debating going back to this size and may be a tad taller in realty. Even though I’m paper mine should be taller.

Thanks, thats what I thought you had. Interesting how its runs more true to size compared to mine. ill have to check again to see how much smaller they run. Either way setup looks good.

 

seems i was wrong, that’s what i get for measuring in the dark, i just re measured and the km3 are bit over 33” so that made me want to go measure my KO2s (same size as my KM3s) and they were actually closer to 32.5” even though both models are advertised as 34 inches!

34.4 is the stated height... 315/70/17. sitting at roughly 33.5. Almost an inch shorter. Also on 17x9 -38 Ray10s

 

that’s crazy all their models are off it seems, false advertising isn’t cool but now i do feel like even more of a badass rock crawling moab in “true 32s” even thought i thought i was on 34s lol (when i was there on KO2s)

 

Yah I was bummed. I bet they are 34.4 when not mounted or the skinniest rim size which I think is 7 or 8”. Were running 9” so I expected some reduced height but not that much.

 

well my ko2s i have in my garage for sale are what i measured unmounted and got little over 32.5” when it’s supposed to be 33.9” so i think the unmounted may not make a difference

 

I guess that doesn’t surprise me.

 

Just curious if you guys are new to the world of over-sized tires? They never ever measure true to the side wall and rarely measure true to mfg specs.
