How to go incognito in the 1980s. At least six people that I knew all had the same Honda and color. I think they only came in this and white.

I just can't imagine having a $600-800+ car payment.

Our morning radio show was making fun of one of its cast members the other day, was a 20 yr old kid that just started working there named Tyler and apparently he wanted advice on getting out of an awful $1100 per month lease he got into. They were saying 'the car better be worth it, what is it?' And he goes "a 2018 Tacoma"...I was laughing so hard. They refer to him as 'Dumbass Tyler' on the show now lol

I guess he didn't have any down payment money and had another car loan that he rolled over into his Tacoma one which made it so high. I can't imagine doing that, damn

 

Yeah that's prolly a bit more accurate of a way to state it. Lol

 

That sucks for him, but rolling that negative over into a lease, and keeping the mileage/wear+tear where it should be for turn in, is the quickest way to get out clean and clear.

You'll have a much higher payment especially since it's a shorter commitment, but once your lease is over, you can just ground your car and be free of said debt.

It's the people that put themselves into an 84 month loan that make me lose faith in humanity, especially when they stack negative onto their loan.

 

If I remember right he said it was a 7 year lease...to make matters worse lol.

 

Hell yeah, dropped my Kings off Monday night and they're ready to be picked up now...gonna grab them tomorrow. Looking forward to the better ride quality finally

They really are, I had a pretty shitty experience with Mossy Toyotas finance dept when I got my truck. Its a long ass story but I should have done a lot of things differently in hindsight. Oh well, lessons were learned and I'll be much more equipped on my next car buying endeavor
