My Dryer Vent exits right onto the deck and leaves dusty lint, any ideas for a different style vent hood that can reduce this? I am unable to go any more down on the inside of the house so any changes will have to be on the exterior. Thanks for any help or ideas!

how much room is there under the deck? Would adding an elbow below the deck be feasible? Keep in mind that sometimes moisture from vents and proximity to wooden decks don't mix

Or how about coming up and out higher on the wall? Not sure where on the house the vent is and if it would end up blowing in your face as your grilling

Could just get a different cap and angle it up or maybe a way to flip that one around so the slats open the other way.

Have you considered an indoor duct? I don’t see many options for you except relocating the duct.

Vent type doesn’t matter, they’re meant to expel exhaust air and with that comes lint.

temp banned, and asked mods to just end it and permaban him. They obliged. Around the same time Crow of judgement left as well.

At least from what I heard

Not sure what kind of arrangement you have inside. But they do make dryer vent lint traps. It's just a small inline filter box with a screen or filter. Have to clean it every month or so but will keep the lint off your deck.

You can try putting a lint trap after the dryer. Or at the vent Just gotta remember to clean it.

also make sure to have your vents cleaned out regularly. Idk how the run is. But if its a long one you cant serve yourself there are companies that will do it

I was looking at that on Amazon and reading the description it says that it vents out the bottom, it would be awesome if it vented out the top, I do have about 2 feet of space under the deck.

That is an interesting product, if that would hold back the lint that is getting past the dryer screen it could possibly work.

Two of my buddies went to LG and they’re both doing 4-5 sealed systems per day.

    I’d be miserable.

They make boxes for the dryer to just vent into in your laundry room
