I'll probably wait a little bit to see what happens with the pricing. At least the stock grill on the 2020 isn't chrome. I can live with it for a while.

I would love to buy this in the future once my 2020 comes in. It has the camera in front... Are there any tutorials or modifications for people in this case?

Keep an eye on local Pick & Pull type salvage yards for wrecked 2018+ Tacos.

I just purchased the one from @FreshMexicanTaco Had a previous one from him without the garnish and it was great. Hopefully this one with it will be just as awesome.

Where’s a good place to get a functional replica garnish at this time? Taco Garage is sold out, as are a couple other sites I’ve checked. I realize eBay has a ton but i would rather not gamble.

Has anyone tried this seller on Amazon? They only have 1 review so I’m hesitant.

Does that hoop not get in the way of the sensor? I wanted to order a slimline bumper like that, but wasn't sure if the hoop would get in the way of the TSS.

I bought the $50 OEM JP genuine sensor on ebay and an OEM pro grill. I’ve had them both installed about a month now. I haven’t had a warning light or anything like that come on at all. My truck is also lifted probably right around 2”.

I have two Tacoma's, both with aftermarket Pro Grilles and non-OEM garnish covers. Both would work but turn off intermittently, sometimes right after I started the truck.
Bought two OEM garnishes from Fresh Mexican and (knock on wood) neither has turned off yet.

I have four non-OEM garnishes sitting around. I have the two that were on the Tacos, which have Toyota numbers on them, but different from my OEM part numbers and two more that I purchased from Ebay. The Ebay ones were advertised as OEM but no Toyota numbers on them at all, so copies.

If anyone wants one of the four, send me a PM and you can have them for shipping costs of $15.00.

They may work for you as there are a lot of trucks that use them but I cannot guarantee results, since they worked for me but only some of the time.

I did because it was cheap and I wanted it to be done just like the factory for OCD.

Looked like the stock OR harness would clip in to all but one of the securement points that the extended harness does. You would probably never have an issue using the regular one.

I’ve had two grilles purchased from @FreshMexicanTaco. Didn’t use the extended harness on either. No issues ever with the TSS system from either grille. If you’re ocd thinks you need the harness get it. I thought it was a waste of money to do it. The harness literally just hangs out behind the grille. No strain on the harness and unless you’re looking really hard you can’t even see it.

Yeah the less money the better if it’s not required. I bought the garnish from jp-genuine on eBay because guys said it was a legit oem garnish for $50 so all I’m concerned about is the tss actually working like it should. Thanks for the help.
