I’d love to try something like that, i’m just so skeptical of how long they would last, how well they would fit, and any help with warranties. I also have a hard time spending $100+ on something super necessary like a bulb and know that what i chose is known to not have a long lifespan

I know you know way more about them, so i’m interested to know your thoughts

Well, you're gonna get the "son I never had deal" but that also means no warranty. I had mine installed for over a year no problems.

The down side to any LED setup is no heat. That's only an issue in the winter when we get those wet snows. I ran into a couple and still felt the trade off was worth it. These bulbs are bad ass.

The p0420 code and check engine light came back on the other night while crusing in 5th gear. It seems to be that the only way it decides to come on is when i’m trying to cruise and save fuel.....

Maf is brand new and clean. I literally have no idea what else could be causing the rear O2 sensor to have such sporadic readings....

So my 4runner ownership is going decent. She’s treating me well.

But i’m finding more things i want to replace or fix.

Like the return spring on the throttle plate, its super worn out and does not always return right away. Feels kind of sketchy sometimes.

I also have a squeak coming from the clutch fan on start up. Don’t know if its the clutch assembly or the pulley it rides on. But it goes away after about 5-10seconds, but it does it almost every start up. Super annoying.

I also have bad speakers in the rear doors...guess i’ll do them when i do the headunit

The problem may not be the spring but a stretched cable look for that instead or just find a spring that works ,from what I’ve read most come up with a creative diy fix

adjusted the cable with plenty of slack.

the spring is super loose and it takes a while for the plate to close. My guess is that spring is worn out after 20 years and 231.5k
