Your describing the FJ60 & FJ62. I have owned both, they are sweet.
Stay away from the FJ62, that’s the model that is Auto Trans. Impossible to find parts for the trans.

I was talking about the FJ80 which was made from 91-97. These were quite possibly the strongest Landcruiser ever made. Straight 6 that is bulletproof, Trans is commercial grade, thing is heavy as hell (which is good and bad), last model of the straight axle.
About as tough as it gets.

Haha, I was actually referring to @cubie with the F-150’s. But you’re 100% right. If I ever get rich enough to just buy cars because I want them and no other reason, an FJ80 is on my list. When I was in Jakarta, we rode around in an FJ60 and a 40. Both rode like shit but never hiccuped. Hahaha.

May be an option but I'll probably just take it to Cory as I've never welded before

Any of you dudes swap out your Prinsu mounts for a different height?

My toprac sits too high above my camper for my liking. Just checking in before I order the 1/2” ones

I’m a little late to the party lately. Haven’t been on much. Just to throw my.02 in here a 285 on a 7 inch wide wheel isn’t a problem. And actually less so when airing down since the tire already is wider than the wheel so it is actually less likely to blow the bead than a wider wheel. On the other hand what I would be more worried about is clearing your UCA with that width of a tire with factory backspacing

Anybody in need of some Magnetic Grey Metallic touchup paint? Dealership gave us this when we purchased our 4Runner. Now that we don't have the 4Runner, I have no need for the paint. Free to a good home.

Dang...they are always too far. Been looking for a shell for a regular cab without opening side widows. That's about 7.5 hours from Myrtle though. I'll find one eventually.

I have a Roofnest Sparrow Eye. It's a hardshell roof top tent if anyone is interested. I purchased it brand new in May,2019. It's only been slept in 4 times. It is white but I had it wrapped with a charcoal color.($500) Sleeps 1-2 people. It is a great tent. Weighs about 130#. Opens in under 30 seconds. Closes in about 45 seconds -1 minute. It includes a collapsible ladder. Nothing wrong with it I'm just doing something different. $1900.

Anyone interested in a 6 month old American Bully? A close friend of mine has come into some serious health issues and lost his job. Can no longer take care of his sweet girl. She is family and dog friendly. Happy to answer any questions. 5D3C7D64-7E55-44AE-A7E2-CA8D1CC46C05.jpg
