    Yesterday morning I said goodbye to the best man I ever knew.
    I know today he is in a better place surrounded by friends and loved ones and I am happy for him.
    He was a giant among men and I can never begin to fill the shoes that now sit empty on the bedroom floor.
    My only hope is that he was half as proud of me as I was of him and that I live my life in a way that would honor his memory.

    Today, I will hop on his tractor, mow the field just like he loved doing and when I'm done I'll sit in the lawn chair and drink a cold Budweiser (his fav) in his honor.

    I love you Dad!

    Please take a moment today to hold your family members close and tell them you love them.
