I'll post this to a more appropriate thread, but thought I would mention...

Getting consumables ready for a differential and transfer case oil change, found that the LF 75W (Toyota #08885-81080) transfer case oil was listed as "no longer available for purchase" on the Toyota parts site (and even if it was, the stuff goes for around $65/liter and you need 2 liters).

Contacted Red Line Synthetic Oil yesterday, and they recommended their MT-LV type gear oil. So I'll be going with their 50604 at a more reasonable $18/qt*.

Yeah, I know, oil is like beer in that everyone has their own preferences. Just saying that Toyota's prescribed oil was apparently not available (I could be wrong) and this is what was recommended by Red Line and what I'll be using. Not trying to kick off a beer/oil/music-type threadjack.

i have the -38 back spacing rays, and i don’t rub at all on the streets (SPC UCAs), just a bit when wheelin and i hit a good size drop faster than i probably should lol

How far out is your Speedo when people get bigger tires? Would be interested if this info was reported as well. Does anyone have a fix for getting the speed sync'd again?

 

luckily that shortage ended last summer but yes a lot of us SO-cal people canged our front yards to drought freindly set ups or some just concreated the front yard (90230)

 

Washed completely and sprayed buffed my taco down with Adam's h20 guard and gloss.... looks great now but am curious how long it lasts.....

Congrats! I know what you guys are going through as my son was born 12 weeks early over 12 years ago! We had some early issues but I'm glad to say he is a healthy and happy boy. The day you are finally able to bring her home will be one you will never forget!

 

Looks good. Did you wax or spray something on your wheels? My black wheels are not that shiny and I wash it pretty regular.

 

I don’t know what they used but they are as clean as when I got them. Those wheels are definitely a challenge.

Installed my cross bars. I had intended to mount them more rearward with access to the front Diamondback panel, but with the RTT we are looking at it just isn't possible. Overall I'm happy with them. Link to bars:
