I've mounted ARBs on a first gen and a second. On both, I put the handle on top, facing rearward, and notched out the metal trim piece that goes along the bottom of the grille mount. I could then switch it from above.

On the second gen, I have the x2o as well. For the control box, I rewired it with much longer wires and installed it under the hood, behind the battery, and ran the port for the remote cable into the cab.

Where did you get the clear lights? I've only been able to find amber, and I currently have LED switchback bulbs wired for both blinkers and marker lights, and I would like to be able to continue to utilize them when I install my bumper.
