Yes i do man. But i like to buy things and then customize them with some personal touches. I still have more ideas for this but Im going to slow down and enjoy it and see what it really 'needs' and what i just 'want' from here.

 

Spent some time fishing in East Texas this weekend. Meet up with and old friend from 6th grade that I hadn't seen in 15 years! We caught a lot of bass and had a great time!
I caught larger bass that this but this was the first one of the day. After that I was focused on enjoying the fishing.

Water was a lot nicer than expected. This area was super clean and great for bare feet!

And we found this sunken boat along the way.

 

Also... looking at buying TC uppers and lowers + Fox 2.5 coilovers... asking $2500 for the setup.

 

Does it come with both sets of shocks? Regardless go for it!

 

Also have a new HU on the way soon! Picked up a pioneer MVH2300NEX for 200 with dash trim, harness adapter, and maestro!

So I got the HU installed... The meistro works, but not as advertised. Not sure what the issue is... also need to retune everything. The sound is so different! Also installed some Polk Audio silk dome tweeters to replace the a blown hybrid audio tweeter. These tweeters are loud! If you like loud crispy highs I would reccomend these.

These also come with a resistor to protect the tweeters and a 12db octave slope optional wire that can be installed that will help protect the tweeters.

Yeah i hear you. These are a great upgrade for $50 bro. Plenty of mounting options, quality magnets, silk domes, built in protection, etc! More of an SPL than an SQL speaker but still really good sound quality.

Also picked up a cheap jetski trailer to convert into a dual kayak trailer. Now time to think and play with some design ideas...

Did some camping this weekend! Went out to the Sabine National Forest and camped next to the Toledo Bend Reservior!

We originally planned to stay at "Ragtown" campgrounds but when we arrived it was closed, so we ended up driving another hour south and found another place to camp. Camp sites were $4 a night, had level parking pads, and water hookups. I didnt see many fire roads as most dirt roads seemed to be residential.


Weather was awesome, saw all the fall colors, water is pretty clear... a little cold for the kayak, but all in all a great trip.

Found a sandy beach... apparently you can find arrow heads on the banks here. Meet a couple that was out there searching for some since the lake was really low due to maintenance on the damn.
