    I really hope thats not the case!

    Not sure whats going on but i'll find out tomorrow hopefully! Last time I checked they had about 50 in stock which is more than enough for the group buy. And I still havent recieved any emails about them back ordering it and waiting for another shipment so lets hope they'll get them out. Theres not many left to get shipped on this group buy.

    Question about hte DRL featue on these lights. i have not purchased them yet but want to in the furture. i was wondering, with the whole stalk problem in the beginning of this thread i noticed that if u have a low grade model without DRl, then the DRL still works on this light its just amber. is there any way to wire this light so that the DRL is amber if we have the DRL on our stalk? not a fan of the white.

    From my understanding straight out the box on lower trims, the DRL's will be amber which Morimoto doesnt recommend using for DRL's. The lower trims uses the fuse tap to enable the white DRL.

    Without re-wiring the DRL harness theres no way to run amber. The wires would have to be re-arranged. But if you make any changes and burn out the Amber LED's im 99.9% sure Morimoto wont accept the warranty claim

    Play devils advocate here...

    Wondering for those with the SR5 and below models how this would play out if someone would run the ambers. From the Morimoto/TRS website there wasn't a cautionary statement about this from what I saw when I purchased them. So if Ambers were run and someone did have issues before the warranty was up, would this be covered, and if it wasn't, how would Morimoto/TRS identify those that ran the ambers from those who didn't - whether this be from negligence, not knowing, or with intent?

    Took a bit of finding, I think the original post I was referring to was on a different post, but found this looking back a bit. Im not too sure what to make of this, so can we run the Ambers constantly?

    No, unfortunately not.

    Ambers run the resistor. You run the resistor constantly, it will fail / cause other issues (ie possible melting of the housing). This is the same for all 20+ XB LED headlight models, except for the LF502-A (16-19 Raptor) which uses amber chips instead of white for the DRL.

    On another note, TRS havent shipped the remaining June and partial July orders and are still processing. Not sure whats taking so long to get them out. They could just be busy. I attached a photo so you guys can see but blocked out most info for privacy and TRS policies.

    @TRSAndrew quick question. Might have been answered already or in another thread, but are you guys developing a harness for the XBs to work in 2020 models that come stock with the LED reflector housings? I'm mildly contemplating trading up a model year for some of the tech parts the new trucks have, along with getting a longbed. But if I do, I'm for sure keeping the XBs and swapping them on.
