Got my inspiration from the 100 page 17" TRD Pro rims on BFG AT TK02 tire thread. I debuted back and forth whether I was going to put a small lift or leveling kit on so I could put 275's on. Ultimately I decided to stay with stock suspension and go with the 265/70 17 Falken WildPeak AT3Ws on the 17" TRD Pro rims. Discount Tire price matched Amazon on the tires at $120 a piece and I got the rims from Olathe Toyota. I have to say I am thrilled at how they look on my truck. Even without a lift it gives the truck a beefier level look and for now I am OK with no lift. No rubbing issues at all and I have front and rear factory mudflaps.

    Definitely a good setup.

For whatever reason, the Wildpeaks even make the Sport wheels look decent to me.

Looks really nice. I have always been a BFG fan for performance and durability, but I see a lot of people going to the Falkens. I may have to look at them.

Just sayin', but looks are a last priority for me. Mainly wet traction, general handling, wear, and other stuff comes first. Usually a tire that nails all those tends to look good? :D

The thing here is that the shiny Sport wheels are a less of a focus now, which has backed me off the ledge of powder coating or painting them.

Looking good! Same exact wheel setup here with a bit of lift. Love the wildpeaks and TRD pro wheels.

Looks great! I've been eyeing them for this spring/summer but I definitely want other wheels so I'm not sure that'll happen - lots of dough to drop lol.

Wheels and tires look great. I'm looking at a set for mine. What is the width of your wheels. There's a person close by that has 17 x 9". I'm afraid the 9" may be too wide. Thanks

Stole them for a deal of $97.10 each on Amazon
Completely change the look of my Truck, making it look more aggressive than the stock tires.

Some great looking trucks! I really like shad951 [OP] with no lift. I don't want to add any height to my truck. I've found a set of 17 x 9 TRD wheels. Everything I see here is 17 x 7. What would the 9's be for and would they fit a Tacoma?

dd light bars, trd cat back exhaust, KDMax tuned, trd skid plate, 2" lift, sema wheels toyo open country at3 tires.
the black out decals for the sport wheels from simplymuggle on here, work surprisingly well. i did that to tide me over through the winter, until i can get the same set up as the OP. looks great, cant wait. Ski

I've been thinking about those for a while. I may end up derping the wheels, but I honestly don't think about them as much since getting the Wildpeaks.

do you guys notice any drifting at all with the wildpeak 265/70/17s and the 4rummer trd wheels? i had a drifting to the right issue and thought and alignment would clear it up...but still doing same thing.

what psi are you guys running? just curious. i will do the chalk test but would like to compare.
