That's what I was thinking when he said "napping". Statewide archery bear season is on. He might have took a poorly place arrow and just took extra long to die and did it by the road, thus the "nap".

Does anyone here ever make a trip to airport and not get delayed? 9:40 flight delay until 11:00, gonna miss connecting flight.

 

5 am out of philly this morning....pre check opens at 4:15 WTF, then the jetway was stuck for 40 minutes. Had to run to my connecting flight and barley made it.

now rental car computers are down, doing it all by hand, going on an hour now

So does he. They are in a private community with no hunting allowed.

 

Any flight in or out of Philly is ALWAYS delayed. Me, my brother, anyone I know always have issues with that airport. Doesn't matter if it's an inside the country flight, overseas, non-stop, or a connecting flight, I've experienced it all.. philly just sucks. Just one more reason I'm not a fan haha.

 

But most of those private communities are backed up against some sort of public land.

 

That is definitely one animal i would not want to hunt for archery.

Used to fly all of the time for a training contract. I can only remember a few times when we did not have to run to make our connecting flight! I have run through many airports!

 

Someone buy this. It's a friend of mine.

 

I flew direct to Jamaica a couple weeks ago out of Philly and flight was on time. Terminal B looks ridiculous though with all those tablet screens everywhere at the gates and restaurants.

The way back was a different story - had a connection in Charlotte and just barely made it due to weather delays and waiting forever to get through customs and security again, actually glad it was delayed or would have missed it. I try to avoid connections too as they rarely go smooth, but the airline switched it on me and there were no other directs available.

 

I know the stats, I know they basically run away when they hear/smell you coming, I know they don't hunt humans, I know they're around us and we might not see or notice, I've backpacked through dense bear country and survived, yada yada yada... but there's still something unsettling about seeing that many in one spot where you want to be living and carrying on with a normal life. Would make me not want to send the kids out to play without me there with a loaded weapon.

 

2 years ago a momma and 3 cubs came through our camp and momma took a swipe at the screen house. This year 3 cubs about the sixe of the ones came through the camp. They were curious and confused. No momma. She must have kicked them out. Time for her to breed again.

 

This is a hydrolic piston for a surgical table. Anyone got a lead on where I can order a replacement piston for cheap (rather than pay my vendor some premium price because its ooooooh "surgical equipment " la dee dah!)
