You're not the Guinea pig anymore, it was a test to see if your gf's diet would work. And it does

the irony (kind of) is that what you're eating now is the "good" food, what you were eating was the crap food lol

We used to do that when I worked at the local butcher shop as a kid...throw the ribeyes, filets, New York steaks, etc into the meat grinder when they were a few days old and make burger patties with them, rather than have them go to waste. Was so good...ruined burgers for me from anywhere else for a long time though

I love some smothered carne asada fries.

The town I grew up in has a short order Mexican fast food place that serves up an entire Togo box of carne asada fries for like $6. Used to go there all the time

Basically the same thing except instead of nacho chips, you use fries, and instead of brisket, you used cut up skirt steak (carne asada).

You sir, are welcome to visit CA and enjoy our foods.

Steer clear of the avocado toast though...it'll turn you into a hipster.

We have a Mac n Cheese food truck that comes by where I work once a week or so that serves all kinds of Mac n cheese concoctions....one of them is this $16 plate (by plate I mean 1 gallon box) of Mac n cheese smothered French fries with carnitas and holy hell is it good. I have to make it at least 2 meals though otherwise I will regret it rather quickly

That's good food man. You can eat that no prob. Issues arise when we eat like that daily

Edit: and I'll drop the topic of your diet:rofl:
I'm sure it's getting old lol
