    There’s no way for them to know they were cryo,d unless you told them. Cryo changes the crystalline structure so the only way they would know is by sending it to a lab which Nitro and Yukon likely wouldn’t do.

    The Cryo process strengthens the gears to the point that you really don’t need a warranty but it doesn’t negate manufacturing defects like bad steel or heating processes.

    Probably a dumb question to some of you, but I lack understanding. I feel like my truck has more torque and/or horsepower after a 5.29s, but is that true? Is there actually more torque at the wheels, or just a feeling or what? If so, anyone know a ballpark gain from the change?

    Of course your engine torque is unchanged.

    But measured at the tire/ground interface yes more torque. Via numerical advantage. Essentially the same as adding a 3' (example) pipe to your breaker bar bearing down on a bolt........

    I think you nailed it. Just like bicycle gears, your leg produces the same power but gear reduction applies more torque to the ground.

    Its been asked here before but no definite answer or anybody reporting on it so I’ll ask again hoping somebody can chime in with an answer. For everybody who tow with the 5.29s, do you use OD gears and is it safe to do so?

    No you shouldn't - just tire size - because speedo is ABS (wheel rotation) based.

    As mentioned, the vehicle speed is determined by ABS sensor revolutions. Gearing change has no affect on speedometer end results as the wheel speed sensor movement relative to the ground did not change. If you change tire size, the revolutions per mile of the tire (consequently the ABS sensors) will change and you might want to recalibrate the speedometer to match that change.

    Quick question for you. I know you install these jammers.
    What would you say is a reasonable price to pay for Labor for Front and Rear with Factory ELocker? This is for a Shop rate.

    I ask because my friend down near me owns a Landcruiser shop, and he gave me a price that I believe is way out of scope.
    As I would be providing the gears.

    I think the going rate in Denver is $2500 to $3500 and they will not let you source your own parts.
