Yeah- didn't think the difference from the stock sport rims would be so noticeable but it sure is, and I like it. Rubbing like crazy though. Trimmed fender and hammered pinch weld today but gotta CMC asap

Gunmetal was the correct choice! Looks great.

What size tire did you end up going with?

It’s 285/70r17 only because when they put on 285/75r17s with the stock wheels the tire hit the UCA and you couldn’t even turn the wheel. With these new wheels there will be room to clear and so next tires will be 34”... right now I can’t turn hard cause my cab mount needs cutting, I’ll be taking care of it this weekend

Gotcha. I knew you’d been looking into the 34s. Didn’t know if that’s the route you went or not. Looking good man

Any ETA on the F5 / 16" / 0 offset? In black or gunmetal?

Would you mind showing pics of the tire poke (front and rear) with the -10mm offset? I may be selling my 16” F5’s w/-25mm offset for this size.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you thinking of changing? Always thought your truck looked awesome in your pics.

Thanks! Im very happy with my truck as it sits now, though may go 17’s eventually due to the additional tire options vs 16’s.

-25mm offset is perfect in my opinion though. It’ll be hard to give up these 16” F5’s!

So the 17x8.5 F5s with -10 offset would poke roughly the same as the 16x8 F5 with -25? 15 millimeter less offset equals roughly .6 inch less poke but the wheel is .50 wider so that equals .10 less poke? Or is my math wrong.

There are several wheel calculators on the internet that show you exactly what you are asking. The amount of users here that actually understand all that and can relay it in an understandable manner is small.

One is linked as a sticky thread on the wheels and tires forum

Have the shop pay for the repair . I use to stretch tires on some expensive wheels and they would usually get messed up and the tire shop would cover the repair .

On another note - ordered my 16x8 -25 today! Can’t wait to get them and mount these 305/70/16s on them!

Would love to hear how those tires are for you. When I get a new set of MT’s it will be the Yokes. Every Yokohama I’ve ever put on a Tacoma rode awesome, but I’ve never tried those

Love the sidewall on those xtreme sizes. How do you know what sizes are considered xtreme or not? I'm sure the 265/75/16 are not nearly as aggressive?

Thanks! Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the only difference is the size of the actual tire. The bigger tire sizes are labeled extreme with a deeper tread and have less of a mileage warranty.
