Last night when I passed by the place referenced in the above post, I found they are now "out of business". I guess most others in town had some type of bad experience with that shop.

I couldn't see them lasting very long. Good riddance.

That's it in a Taco shell. Actually when I got it home I had to pull the oil pan to check the rod bearings and then reseal it. It was a few weeks later when I found the missing half moon. I thought they would know something about the 3.4L since the lead tech drove a 98 model 4Runner.

 

I thought it looked familiar. 1960 Buick nailhead. The first carburetor that I overhauled as a kid.

I didn't care so much on my last car, a manual trans Scion tC. Let my ex-girlfriend learn how to drive stick on it, she was actually really good and if I recall only stalled a couple times. Took me weeks to learn when I was ~18 lol.
