Is the original crossmember bushings shot? Similar to engine mounts, if you go solid, you will feel everything vibrating through the frame/body.

No I replaced em when my truck took its recent hiatus from life. The dual cases are too much torque for it to handle. Plus the chain vibrates horribly 50-60mph so if I make a static mount it might stiffen it up enough to just go away. I’ll show you some of the whack stuff it does tomorrow

What about machining a solid bushing? Only down side I could see is potential of cracking a bolt or case. :anonymous:

Meh too much work. If I crack the case that’d be nutty. I guess I could do a small poly bushing. When I use low low and need to bump something my drivetrain damn near rotates out of the truck. It’s honestly scary

You going to do that and HF?
I'll get you news from SA, assuming there is something not here.

Bomb-proof mounts. Idk if they make them for your model.

One time I drove the Taco from Austin back to Tech. I went straight to a friends house to partake in some botany research. Decided to flex on his Taco's 35s, drove 6 hours just to snap a CV as soon as I pulled into their driveway.

I'm thinking most of the rubber on Dylan's truck is wore out.

@CedarPark , did I say anything about your trans/xfer case bushings when we were under it?

Check your engine mounts, too. Does the steering wheel vibrate a lot at idle?

Go do it while there is some mud to play with. They didn't get all the heavy stuff, so might just be slippery fun.
