Another bump since I'm in Boise another week before heading back to Colorado.

Are fiberglass ones that much heavier? You could put some windoors in it I'm sure.

I have a fiberglass one now. It's heavy. All fiberglass ones are heavy if they are built well enough to handle off-roading. I'm hoping to just find one that is used and decently priced. The closest one I have found is in San Diego - pretty much in México.

I've always heard that the holes for bolts and rivets in the aluminum toppers enlarge over time. Flexing the bed while offroading would make things worse. I've never owned one but just something to keep in mind.

The one that initially came on my truck and had been on there for 11 years before I got it seemed to be just fine. Then I punished it in Death Valley and other places for a few years before putting a Flippac on my truck and selling it. I want another one.

My friend had them install an ARB locker in his rear diff on his Tundra which also included hooking up the compressor. He's going to take it back in at some point for suspension that they talked about/planned out.

Anyone have a 1st gen (rear) hitch that is NOT a hidden hitch? My current hidden hitch pushes the tire a little forward and will hit my e-brake cables/mounts and axle at full flex so I'm currently stuck with the spare in the bed.

Had to create a new account. Recovering my password was nearly impossible and it's only saved on 1 dinosaur laptop.

Anyways. I'm seriously considering selling my truck within the next year. It's just not the ideal grocery getter for me anymore. She has 92k miles and I put roughly 400 miles on it a month. What is ya'lls opinion on selling it before I hit 100k? Is it going to make much of a difference?

welcome back;) prob not going to make a huge difference but some people like to buy under 100K. If its under mileage thats going to help sell more than anything.
