Ah yes the Finer Cultural establishments of Hamertown ...
the Silly Hoes back in the 80's could pickle your liver and drain your wallet,
but you always left with a smile...
and maybe a new coldsore or two....

Hamertown is nipple free now. :(

Buddy and I went into Solid Gold a couple years ago,
it was dead, one chick in a bikini just walking around and 4 people drinking at the bar...

Not like it was in the heyday when I was getting my tit signed by the feature act, or my buddy was on stage with a feature sitting on him, slapping the shit out of him.. Lol that is a story...

Had a lot of laughs at the different "ballet studios" in the area,
too bad that part of our "cultural heritage" is disappearing .

Maybe we should write Doug Ford..
Start a, "Buck a Boob" campaign.
Hell, Buck a Boob, Buck a Beer.... it's gonna sound like jingle bells, when I go running in with pockets full of Loonies.

Anyone try this paint? Found IHL selling it for $7 and it seemed legit enough.

Tech savvy most definitely yes but i do have a nerd side.
but i've played around with ubuntu, Mint, Peppermint, Arch, Winlin, and redhat since i was curious about enterprise at the time.
overtime just sorta dropped linux all around as an OS and stuck with win10 as a few games don't like any version of linux in general, try getting some under the table French made MMO to run on Mint and Ubuntu is an absolute ass.
But still have my old PC and re-built it to use it for VMs and a few emulators. other than that it collects dust :rain:

Helping a buddy currently add a waterloop into his tower 900. the typical EKWB stuff. something like 6 radiators and 2 pumps, 2 reservoirs, amd 3900x, twin NVDIA 2080 Founders cards and too much shit that i don't remember the names of.
he's built PCs when you still had to change out capacitors and nodes, but hardly knows anything about water cooling other than AIOs

I work with stupid computers everyday, all day. :duh: I manage a full linux VM network for my day job. If you run VM's, look at XCP-ng as your host OS, open source version of Citrix Xen server with no license requirements for all the good stuff. We run all our VM hosts on it.

I gave up on spending any of my own time and money on PC's anymore. My tech scheme is now 'as little as possible'.

The taco has helped me spend my time on things not PC related. Go out in the woods with the wife, work on the truck in the shop. It has been a great help.

sounds interesting, I'll look into XCP thanks for the heads up on it. It'll get me to play around with things again!

But yeah, i'm in the same boat as you. Not server side stuff but i'm dealing with CAD (civil3d), XPSWM, otthimo on a daily basis for work. 9 hours a day at work and when i get home, i boot up my main rig but try to avoid doing anything technical or mentally draining as well. As of late I don't even have the urge anymore to play video games or sit at my PC for longer than a couple of hours, keep that in mind that for the last few years my PC has been my entire life since most of my good buds are over the border and hard to meet up with.

The office is draining my will to live and killing my social life

I can definitely agree with you that the taco has helped with working on stuff that's not PC related. life is more enjoyable offroad :D

and as the OverlandBound guy says "Adventure is Necessary".
gfy Eugene, i like the OB principles!

Do any of you have SOS skid plates? They have a 20% off Black Friday sale and the shipping is only $50 US (seems low) to my sister in Michigan. They are 3/16” steel which seems to be standard. Any opinions about SOS or their products? I’m thinking early Merry Christmas to me!

BAMF has a 25% off sale but their shipping is $250 US. The BAMF skids are brutes though. ¼” steel with additional gussets. They weigh 200#.

For those of you who have had their exhaust relocated, where did you have it done and what did it cost?

    Thanks.

Coachworks Automotive in Milton did a really nice job on mine. I think it was about $250 but I can't remember exactly. He used stainless and made a heat shield for the tcase.

All the skids reuse exact same points of mounting, there is no difference between them, just personal brand preference and kind of a deal you can score.
I would say 3/16 is plenty for most applications. 1/4 is more for dedicated crawlers, with our limited payload #everypoundmatters.

Still have to take measurements... and install or simulate winch weight...

and the rear leafs have to go in still...

but my target increase over stock sport height was +1.5"... and by eye I think I'm pretty close.

And by the seat of the pants Barton st and other parts of Hamilton tour...

Holy Shit! Tires are my limitation now with hard cornering...
Planted smooth is the easiest way to describe it.
Don't have to dodge potholes to not spill my coffee.
Hit all the bad spots on purpose and it was like pffft, nothing.
Doing the rest of my"testing" is gonna be fun.
Going to get some wire loom to cover the fabric on the hoses then go play in the mid before it all freezes up.

    Very nice!
What's the coils rating? Can't find anywhere online, but if it's similar to fox 2.5 - must be 600lbs, with the winch and skids, sliders you might want to look into 650lbs coils.

and you need 35s/37s now, send me address and I'll bring hammer and sickle:sawzall::welder:
