Looks good to me! I don't like to weld stainless much but I haven't gotten to try with TIG yet

 

He was so annoyed by the squeaking he asked me to look into converting them. This is a '93 Civic.

Completely stock, it's a rare sight. He turned down $6k for it.

 

im on the hunt for XRS brakes for my corolla..


tundra and tacoma will be getting discs too at this point.. im done with the damn drum squeak on the corolla and tundra. No matter what i do it comes back. ive cut my drums, ive got new toyota shoes, new toyota drums.. they still l squeak...


and ive adjusted them perfectly. the grease is on the backing plate where it should be.. i just give up lol

 

At my school it was mostly Saudi guys with the big bucks, which is funny in a cow town

Its not too horrible. This weld was making my little welder cry. But it did it..

 

One of these days Ill get a picture of the wall of welders at work. There's a welder section for each type of job and within the sections there's a welder for your mood haha

I sold my arc welder. All I have left is the miller pocket tig and my plasma cutter
I’ve got a miller that I’m trying to get parts for that’ll do high freq so I can do aluminum.

 

We didn't have many Middle Eastern exchange students, they were 90% Chinese.

Tonneau or truck cap on the tundra... torn. Tonneau is a lot cheaper... cap gives me enough room to live in it comfortably

I haven't played with our fancy TIG welders. We have some neato huge Hobart ones and a few Miller InverTIGs. I mostly use a huge 80s Miller 350a, Lincoln SP-175, and occasionally a Linde 650a with some monster dual shield. The guy next to me used a Miller DeltaWeld with separate spool carriage and huge dual shield to lay 1" beads on huge 3" thick 36"dia spools for cables.

 

My Miller 180 can do Aluminum with a Spool Gun.

My current one is tiny and meant for small jobs with steel.

 

Man I know this is stupid as hell but is there anyone got something Jerry rigged up to keep their ditch light cables from not getting smashed by the brackets/hood. I’ve smashed the shot outta mine and scared to turn them on now
