TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

I may go back to 2.5 as well. It runs bitchen with the 2.3 but like @BassAckwards said, I as well need to ensure longevity. (Have another toy to play with)

About 12 psi in full boost with Tundra intake and a bit of exhaust work.

I went 2.85, 2.7, 2.5, 2.3.

 

Boost normally fixes the drain back issues on the turd gen

 

At least 30,000 miles of balls out boost to redline nearly everyday all the time on mine should be enough to prove longevity. If I was going to pop something it would had happened by now.

 

I'll take a 2.5 if anyone's selling. Made 13psi couple days ago with my 2.6. Dam cold here though. Was in the 30s

I'm keeping my 2.3. It just seems to reach the max flow quicker in the throttle than the 2.5 but the end result is the same, although probably losing efficiency. My main concern was the heat generated which is why I installed methanol injection. I still need to get an indicator light into the dash for the sc pump so I can see if that ever shits the bed but other than that everything is running really well for me.

If I swap to bigger injectors what do you guys recommend? I’ll be 2.8 or 2.5 depending if I can get some other work done for the 2.5. I figure with the AEM 320 and 650s it will be more than enough. But if smaller is better I am open to it

 

2.5 is a fantastic pulley size. 650 injectors arent mandatory but a great call. lots of ceiling for fuel support if fure mods happen.

 

guys, help me out. rock auto sucks. what search magic is used to buy an rpm s/c belt. ive tried over and over with no luck using part #s. help, i want a 2.3 length belt!

 

There is no 2.3" length belt in the 5 rib variety brotha, page 1 covers that. You have to buy a 6 rib then slice it down to make it a 5 rib.

K060690RPM is the On for that belt.

It was just an article I read some time ago which further influenced my decision to go the way I went.

 

so im buying the 69" belt for a 2.3 with the roush. hope its a great combo. should i get the rip mod with this belt or no?

 

I still have mine implemented and it can't hurt, so yes I personally would.
