Probably not, it’s attached to the rail with this , even sideways I think it would be too tall, but you could fab a mount from it to sit lower

Amazon has a RotopaX mount that would mount to the side of the bed that would probably work using rivet nuts to attach it but it's $60. With the RotopaX turned sideways it should work depending on the dimensions of the RotopaX. Same setup that I've been considering for my Tacoma. I just haven't researched the different tank/can dimensions yet and I just spent 8 beans on a FabFours rear bumper so............

Hey I won’t be needing that part after tomorrow if someone wants to give it a run. Bed rack very soon

Yup! Everyday hospital visits become the normal. I'm happy you were able to kangaroo care so soon. We had to wait 8 weeks! Although stressful and sometimes scary, this is a rare opportunity to see your baby grow in a way that most don't get to, and with today's NICU technology your baby is in good hands!

First 2hrs we had skin to skin...and the NICU that she is in is one of the best in the country from what I’ve heard...she’s a stones throw from children’s hospital where they send people out for anything needed...which is amazing...I mean children’s hospital...best on the planet. Blessed...that’s where I’m at...but it’s people like you who reach out that really make things a bit easier everyday. Really appreciate you taking the time good sir...I mean it.

Are those sliders or some sort of nerf bar? I've been looking at the @BudBuilt rock rails, but I'm worried they won't offer enough protection. I use the sliders on my 1st gen as a step all the time, plus the kick out has saved my bacon several times.

Inferno75 - You're in great hands, as I come from first hand experience. My wife had all sorts of issues pre-delivery with our twin girls. She spent nearly 10 weeks on bed rest on the 12th floor of the Brigham. Both were delivered about 10 weeks early, one 2lbs 14oz her sister 3lbs 9oz. They had to reach 5lbs before being released from Children's next door. One was finally released a month later, but her sister required a couple of minor surgeries and took 3 months to arrive home. I slept in the chair in my wife's room, in my car and anywhere else I could close my eyes for 20 minutes. Worked in central MA at the time on the over night shift, lived on the south shore, but spent most part of 6 months in Boston. The staff of Drs and Nurses at both hospital were top notch, even the health insurance rep at the hospital was great. I'll never forget the details, as they're so etched in my mind. It's tough to go thru now, but take it day by day and embrace the small steps of progress and time starts to melt away. When you look back, it will seem like the time flew by. I type this now, as both my girls are freshmen in college, happy, healthy and no long term effects of arriving early! Best of luck to Mom, baby and you. Bill in MA
