This has become to blown out of proportion.

Rules established on the waiver were (possibly) broken by more than one party.

Was it necessary to publicly advertise that one participating member is not longer welcome and why he wasn't? I as well as other say no it wasn't.

This was not an "Official" TacomaWorld organized run nor was it ever advertised as one. The actions of members on the trail should not carry over here and if they do it should be handled privately.

Waivers are there to protect the organizers and sponsors of the event in case something were to happen. In this case something did and somebody rolled a vehicle. BTW, were permits and was the necessary liability insurance purchased (if required by state law) for such a large group?

The attendee's of the event were TW members but that does not mean it was "Official". Some members of the Staff may have known about the event but we never agreed to roger up TW's name for it.

    This needs to end.

    Yes.
We took the Sienna for a bit of "off-roading" the other night. Got some good air with it, and managed to not break the poor thing...again. Haha.

The local forest service was notified ahead of time, best of my knowledge they never said anything about any permits required. Also best I know there is no requirement for even insurance in a case like this, as all vehicles are registered for highway use, and the event's disclosure did state each party was responsible for their own vehicle and/or actions.

I was at lunch so I have not responded for everything.

    Anyways a response to all.

I'm not sure why we are still fighting about this. Connor said himself that he was fine with not coming to future events. which is what I stated. This is not a personal attack towards the kid. I actually like the guy. He is goofy and keeps people laughing out there. But I cannot allow him to attend the future events. I first gave him a first and final warning via pm but then he decided to fight us on everything and try to blame (20 trucks) for breaking the rules when we moved off the trail during the recovery of Gear's truck. To make it easier and not to argue I decided that any event that I plan or host he is not welcome at. He can go to other things I really don't care. If he does come to an event I will kindly ask him to leave the event. Per the mods request I will edit the waiver to not include the banning from tw because that is only allowed if we had staff there. But It will still state that you are not allowed to future events. We have these rules to keep everyone at the event safe. Safety is our number 1 priority on these meets. We do not want people to get hurt and not be able to attend these functions down the road. Not one person had a problem with these rules. They are very simple and mostly common sense. I am standing behind my choice. if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to pm me because I don't want to get this thread closed.

    Best Regards,

    Alex

Ever since I was a kid I supported one of the worst teams in the NFL. Things looked a lot better then the past two years not so good. Maybe this will be a good year

And some how, Scott got some TW stickers in the mail to hand out at this event.

Just curious, if any Moderators can answer this: When are the events (planned on TW months in advance) not a an official TW event? What does it take to be an official TW event?
