I seldom use my navigation system since most of my travel is back and forth to work. I used it a few times and so far noticed when the direction prompts come across the radio does not mute or reduce volume. Most navigation systems will mute the radio. What am I missing or did Toyota drop the ball on this one. My hearing is not as good as it use to be so I need to hear the directions and still enjoy my music. Any one else figure this out?

I just ask my wife: huh, what'd it say?
Understand the hearing problem...hopefully someone on here knows.

The problem is my wife gets tired of repeating things for me. It's more like will you get some hearing aids. Sure though the cost if them is almost like buying a new Taco!

Yea, my wife does not like repeating something either. The cost of hearing aids is ridiculous.

Turn up the nav volume in the settings. That's the only way around it from what I understand.
