This literally just happened to one of our doors in the laundry room Now I don’t even have to think about how to repair it, you did the thinking for me. You are awesome!

Wow I helped and didn’t even try.
Imagine if I really wanted to help?
Oh second thought, good thing I didn’t know. Lol

I used the 5 min epoxy to fill the screw holes
The an hour later I started working the rock hard to build up the area.
Let them dry for a while until it was like playdough. The last coat i overfilled.
Then when it got to the right consistency, I used a straight edge to scrape the stuff off
to the level of the cabinet. Let it dry for at least a day. Scuff it with sanding block. Painted it.
Not perfect but if your that nosey my boy don’t want you in the house lol.
Then I drilled a pilot hole slightly smaller than the screw core and used the screw as a tap and screwed the door on a turn at a time and backed off a 1/2 turn. Not 100% sure of the core strength so I just didn’t want to use a screw gun. I could tell when it went into the epoxy and just took it easy.
My backup plan was plastic wall inserts. Drill a bigger hole and tap in the insert and screw It in that way.
    Hope that helps a little.

    Morning
I had a gloating/ vindication moment yesterday and was able to be the
    center of it.

Did the radar recall on a tundra.
Comes back saying after I did it the check engine light is on.
    What did I screw up?
Written up as light on after recall.

So this is what I found.

    E9ED223C-0243-4F30-88FF-B0496AA25C9D.jpg

    0CB3AC29-48E0-48CF-999C-309B09140C3E.jpg
    F5EBAE3E-B728-444C-931C-F847F91FE682.jpg

    7000 miles on it.

So after the recall he went hunting and from the look of it he ran over something and yanked the connector of the o2 sensor off it’s Perch, separates it, pulls the wires out of it.

He said he didn’t run over anything.

So I took him out and showed him.
Said “You think the recall involves ripping wires out of connectors putting dents in cat converter shields?”

So the cust and asm both were there and I said.

“You know techs don’t appreciate being accused of screwing shit up without even
looking at what the problem is. Talking shit in the waiting room doesn’t help your cause and now I’m going to fix your truck. Everyone out there thinks the person working on your truck (me) is incompetent. They won’t know it’s your fault, I found the problem quick, and I’m going to fix right.
    But they won’t know that...

    Crickets.....
