Seen this pic a few times on social media. LSU would be credited with being great, but LSU wouldn’t be considered overrated if Alabama beats them, but bama has played nobody up until LSU. This is what you deal with in this state...

All the money going to LSU. I’m getting a great white hype vibe here. Everyone hates bama (including me) and just wants someone to beat them. What happens when bama jumps out to a 17 point lead in the 1st quarter and then it’s business as usual?

There's no way. These high profile seaching coaches always turn into middle school-type gossip fests and all the coaches "express interest" to get raises

I disagree... Dion is smarter than he leads on. He did an interview at one point and pretty much said the "primetime " thing was a schtick. He was doing what all players did then... put on a show. You dont become that good without having a little general knowledge. Now would he be a great coach... meh. But I dont think he would be a total dumpster fire. Couldn't be any worse than Taggert was.

 

It came from CBS SI is reporting it as well. He has one of the greatest legacies of anyone ever at any school. If he goes there and they win, he’s the best thing to ever happen to FSU. If they continue to lose, his legacy is destroyed. And has he ever coached anything above high school level ball?

 

That's what I'm saying. This all sounds so similar to the numerous Peyton Manning rumors. There is so little to gain but so much to lose. he should enjoy his retirement

The guy with 0 real coaching experience couldn't be worse than Taggert? His only coaching experience is a HS OC for what 2 years? and being biased in the UA All American game where he only plays FSU commits/recruits..just because you were an elite player doesn't mean you know how to coach and or handle a massive program but hey let FSU sink further into oblivion and waste more money they don't have.

I know this is really just media grasping at anything to get clicks, but TBH let's not put it past FSU to be this stupid (they paid Oregon's buyout from USF for taggert so FSU has now paid Taggert to not coach USF, Oregon and themselves)
