    Mega multi-quote time!!!!!!!

That looks awesome! I'm not normally a meatloaf fan, but when it is kissed by the smoke, it tastes so great. I don't guess I've ever made it myself, but one of the Pitfaced guys has and it is really good.

The lowest and the slowest of cooks.

I'd love the hell out of hanging out, cooking, and drinking with any of this here peanut gallery, but I think I'd have one HELL of a time with @Cold Iron . I think I'd opt for a colder month, though, just to get the full experience. I love seeing his backyard adventures which always, always feature some meat getting dragged across, spun above, or entombed in the heat.

That or I want to hang out with the punniest member of TW.

    Are we about due?!?!?

Same here! I'll be frying 8 turkeys so far this Thanksgiving. Folks show up to my place, hang out on the back patio, drink from one gnarly Bloody Mary bar that I set up, chat, then take their turkeys home to the family. It's become tradition for a number of families that are close (in proximity and/or friendship) to us.

Yes! I have some dark pavestone on the side of the house that the smokers sit on, so it's already kind of dirty, but doesn't show much anyways. I put a big tarp under the prep table, but let the oil spill on the fryers. No biggie. Definitely reuse the oil, though. It makes for killer french fries!

I can actually hear that emoji.

$2k barely got me some steel and insulation :anonymous:.

    Maybe a little progress tomorrow, right @Bigdaddy4760 !?!?! :D

Gotta knock out that keg first, though.

HAHA It could be close, but after the disastrous results I've had with the last couple.. I think I'll just be a spectator!

Plan is to make that mega-burger on Sunday. We'll see if I can procure the necessary ingredients ahead of time, then get up at a decent hour to put it together.

~5lb burger, with the bun being made out of the bread that you usually dig a hole in to make a bread-bowl.

Meat stuffed to the brim with cheese, caramelized onions, peppers (maybe?). Topped with bacon and ~3 fried eggs.

Set in the middle of the table, slice a chunk for yourself, and eat as one big mess of deliciousness.

I'll bring some back. I'll experiment with 80/20 beef first. If it passes proof of concept, I'll do it again kicked up another notch with that venison goodness!

Damn been looking for a used 22" WSM for awhile now to go with my 18". Not sure where I would put it deck is already full up of smokers and grills but figure I'd worry about it after the fact. You are aren't that far off I-35 but at the wrong end of it, only 17 hours from my place :pout:

Search CL at least once a week and for the last year about the only thing that comes up using Weber to search are red Angus bulls that come from a line of bulls started by one named Weber. Weber Cardshark X Stonys Savannah Son-

Mine isn't taking up any space that will be needed for the the Rec Tec, but I really don't think I'll be using it in the future. And I'm not a smoker hoarder like someone we know... :boink::bananadead::bananadance:
