I know the feeling. Great to hear from ya, hope y'all are doing well.

 

Same old, same old. Averaging about 6 hours of sleep a night working 12s. But my labor day week check was over $2k. Too bad I spent it on the new roof and shed slab.

Dude, too much has been going on. Stressed the fuck out about money. Been working more OT than I'd like to. I'm beyond spent. Then I about get everything paid off and we find a nail through my sidewall on the truck and the spare is smaller than all the rest. WTH previous owner!? Guess I should've checked before now. Savings taking the hit, 850~ for 4 and roofing company covering the 5th because they guaranteed no nails left behind.

Just trying to get all the bills paid and put money into savings, but seems like everytime the bills about get paid off some big expense hits. Or we decide to do something nice because we get a little extra money and it bites us later. It's hard supporting two on one income, but that's life. I don't take what I have for granted but it'd be a hell of a lot easier if I could make more. Been contemplating going back to school for a bachelors but then again I come back to not having the $$. Work will reimburse me when it's all said and done, but I got come up with that up front.

Well OP. My UPS truck aka GMC Canyon is down. Stepped on a brick on the expressway and the front tire took a dump. I thought that the tire would by the worst part, but attempting to change the tire with cars flying by and it being pitch black proved to by waaaay worst.

 

Damn! And I thought a nail was bad! Hymee you gotta watch out for the rogue highway bricks!
