Hu, cause another option is just replacing the bulbs in my work light housing, but if they won't melt ice...

Why are there so many options these days. Its so hard to do simple things, information over load and everyone says different stuff depending on where ya look:goingcrazy::goingcrazy:

Edit: I ordered a roof-top light, $50 and tons of good reviews. Few people on a snow forum said it should be good for what I want. Should be here Monday and I will test it out, if it sucks I'll send it back

Looks similar to what I have for the truck for plowing. That one works quite well, very bright and a good variety of flash patterns. One thing I've noticed is that LED strobes seen to be more visible with line-of-sight, but don't 'throw' light to be visible to somebody coming from around a corner as well as a conventional bulb does.

I notice that the LED's on my snowmobile are bright as hell but don't seem to throw as well as the halogen headlight.

good to hear you like yours, hopefully I find a similar experience. A few of the reviews I read on some did complain about a very direct light that didn’t spread well. And from some of these other comments, sounds common.

I’m hoping these don’t throw to too far, I’d really just like to see everything around me, and when I’m by the road other cars see me.

Usually cause they are a whiter light, which is less usable. Most usable light is lower on the temp scale, a mix of yellow and white. LEDs are typically just white light.

Yeah, they are a lot lighter than the halogen in the main headlamp. A lot of people change out the shitty stock bulb to an LED, but since I got these pods I kinda like the mix of color temperatures, so I keep it.

Forgot who all was asking, but talked to Alex and he said to just call if you have questions about services. You can say you heard about him from Tacoma World and he should be aware

Just installed some 4 inch focals in the tractor. THUMPING BABY:rofl::rofl:

But does sound much better. Thing actually came with a half way decent head unit. Has pandora, spotify, iphone connect and a bunch of other features on a single din. Stock speakers were 40rms and so are these, just a much better speaker.

Cant wait to rock out in the snow storm with my rooftop light and music crankin':headbang:

I'm honestly looking forward to it. I hope we get a ton of snow this winter. I ordered a snowblower and push box for the tractor and installed a block heater on it last week.

I'm also hoping for a white winter. Last year sucked; ice cold all the time, unless it was supposed to snow. Then it'd warm up, change to rain, and drop back into the freezer 2 days later. Give me 6 feet on the ground between Thanksgiving and April Fools any year over that shit.

Yeah nothing worse than a never ending mud season. I'm not sure how this year will go, farmers almanac and others seem to be hinting at a slow start...

We had a never ending ice season. Not a ton of snow here, although plenty north, but I had 4 solid inches of ice on my driveway for a lot of the winter. I almost bought a sander for my truck. Didn't need the plow, but a sander would have been better than filling buckets all winter. And I live in a sandpit!

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
I know this isn’t really the place for it.... but....
If anyone’s interested in a Gen 4 Glock 27 with three mags, two Pearce grips, and a ccw holster... please PM me

gen4 are typically not available to the general public as they are not on the MA list. However they are legal to purchase from p2p

I have a gen 3 26 that I love shooting. Great guns. Should have no problem selling in MA.

And seriously, thanks for putting on the badge every day

We don't need it, but they are so rare to find out here legally. I loved my glocks down in NC but sold them before I came back not fully understanding the stupid laws here....
