It was super easy when I ran it last year. Nothing like it was back when we hit it.

Also, interesting to hear about Fix It Pass. We ran that earlier this year, and it was pretty gnarly.

Oh man those are two good comparison shots. I was surprised because I had read so much about that obstacle being so difficult but I moved through it quite quickly and without my wife spotting me. That is a bummer - especially because there is a bypass.

While low range was nice to have on Fix-It for the throttle control, 4 wheel drive was never needed. The rangers that I ran into made it pretty clear that I wouldn't have struggled mightily had they not cleared the way with excavators.

    Lame.

Unless it got really washed out or something. :notsure:

It was difficult for sure, but that's what made it fun.

You went down what we went up, but your pic looks very different, that was a pretty difficult section for sure

I could see that becoming impassible pretty quickly with another heavy rain. Would have flushed all that fucking trash out of there too. We picked at least a case of cans off the side of the trail on that section and we didn’t even get all of them, there was a particularly large amount on that climb. I hate people :censored:

I've still got some blue and red plastic clips for you :p We're headed out for an overnighter on Saturday with the trailer and canoooooe, but it will be pretty boring compared to your trip.

Yep.......Fix It Pass has been very knarley.....

The fall of '18 had many more T/storms and it made it nearly impassable

Dry as a popcorn fart this fall.......:(

Shoshone falls is amazing from up top and below! Wish I could have seen it before the snake river was diverted across the Magic Valley for irrigation.

That looks like a ton of fun! We figured we would always be in a hurry when passing through Twin Falls so decided to just say screw it, lets waste an hour and go check it out. Totally worth it.

One of these day I'll get off my lazy butt and snag those clips from you. I hope the camping trip was fun! I instead lost $20 playing poker with the boys last night.
