I have a 2019 trd offroad 4x4 longbed. I installed a Dobinsons 3" lift front and back with upper control arms. No rubbing issues. Some before but none after. Fast fwd 2 1/2 weeks when my appointment rolls around for my front end alignment. After the alignment my tires rub. How in the world is that possible. I should be able to throw 285's on this thing without rubbing. Going to have to take it back in monday and see what the heck is going on. These are the c rated wildpeaks with the 17" trd rims. Most claim they get no rubbing even without a lift.

I had similar issues after lift alignment with 265s. It was the caster and a shop that didn’t know how to do lifted vehicles. I would recommend finding a Offroad shop to do the alignment. That’s what I ended up doing. They where fantastic and do an amazing job. Advanced suspension in Twin Falls Idaho. Obviously your to far away for them but they deserve recognition for possibly some one else closer.

That is the kind of shop I took it to. A shop called 4 wheel specialties. They are supposed to be one of the best but obviously not on mine. I must have gotten the newbie or something.

285s definitely do not clear with no lift unless you chop quite a bit. Even with a lift depending on the wheel specs you likely will need a CMC. All about the wheel specs

I know 285’s don’t clear without a lift. I was saying 26570R17 should clear without a lift. Mine are not clearing with a 3” lift.

Now that's very odd. I've cleared and offroaded 265/75/16s on stock wheels with stock suspension with no rubbing at all. What kind of wheels you got?

I have the very common to these boards trd 17" rims with 265/70/17's Falken Wildpeaks C rated. I had the E rated that rubbed like crazy before the lift and I took it back to Discount and had them put the C rated on. They had put the wrong tires on by mistake. Rubbing was better but still there. After I installed the Dobinsons 3" lift front and back I had zero rubbing. Smooth as butter. After my alignment I just drove it home and that was it. When I backed out of the driveway I heard load rubbing. Parking at a business I got it backing into a spot and pulling out. Now I seem to notice it pretty often when turning. I'm going to call them monday and take it back in. Like BroID I think they adjusted the caster wrong. Unfortunately for me I did take my truck to the 4 wheel specialty place. They specialize in lifted trucks. We do have an outstanding racing/tire shop that has all the latest and greastest to get your vehicle right but it is a drive for me and I didn't want to be stuck there all day waiting. I figured these 4 wheel specialty guys would know what they are doing. They are always busy and do tons of lifts there. If they can't get it right I will just go to the other place and wait.

Ty, That’s what I aimed for, tried to be different with my whole build but it’s difficult when we all shop at the same 40 stores. Lol

The slim bumper looks like SSOs but what are those little black dots circles in the photo?
