So would you still run those LED headlights? I'd like to upgrade my DD's. Probably add some Ditch lights to it as well as that has seriously saved my ass countless times, but just having better headlights will help.

Was thinking of just getting the Hella H4 lenses and some LED H4s.

For Ditch lights get Rango Fab mounts and probably S2s. I wish I had a shop because Id probably make some mirror mount ones this time if I could..

 

I really liked them and I think for the new truck... New old truck, there we go, I'll probably get them again but im still unsure if they'll ice up or not in heavy weather. Not as much a concern for me because I can drive the cruiser on a shitty day. But for you in your climate that could be an issue if they don't have heaters, which I'm unsure of.

 

That is very true. Also likely my idea of using LED H4s in the hella housings won't generate enough heat either.

According to the Amazon link listed down below which is from the link you posted they do not have heaters. Via searching the questions, someone posted they ice over.

Well, the rigid ones won't ice haha. Those are still a decent value all things considered

 

Could also do a cut to fit transparent heater grid too, they make those with sticky backings

Might have to do the Hella lights and see if I can get 100w bulbs.

So buy the black ones. That's the new style, led projectors are more efficient and cheaper to produce.

 

I see jeeps with similar headlights around here all the time and I don’t think the beam pattern is that well controlled. Either that or they all decide to aim their lights upwards.

 

Or they bought the eBay ones... JW speaker is high end quality. They're also a pretty big OEM, Jeep actually specs them on their higher models with round headlights

Sometimes that's how it be, could do a projector retro yourself if you're so inclined. I'm kinda over that look though now. Prob just gonna rock another set of those leds I had. Mine never iced over and we wheeled in snow.

 

Did yours have another two wires to hook up? Truck lite has a pair that has what they call a "built in position light"...whatever that is.
