Hi @ACEkraut. Brand new to Tacoma World. Had my 19 SR5 for a month now and love it. I’m definitely interested in getting one of your no drill mounting brackets. I searched around online and didn’t have much luck until I stumbled upon this thread...glad I did! PM me for whatever info you need, thanks!

I have had this on my truck for close to 2 years now. No issues. Great bracket. Looks 1000x better then the stock plastic block. I get tons of compliments on it.

I recently purchased this mount and wanted to write a review on it. Thanks to Aaron for prompt response to my inquiry and also for fast shipping!
I wanted to put the plate from my previous car on, but had no desire at all to drill through the bumper. Thus, I was glad when I found this thread and the many positive reviews with it.
For most people the install shouldn’t take too long to do. Pretty straightforward, and the instructions are easy to understand.
I like the simplicity of the design. Felt pads are included so you don’t have to worry about scratching or rubbing against any part of the bumper, which is a good thing since the mount is metal. Really the only issue I had was after installing the plate, one side was slightly higher than the other. I could have had something misaligned and didn’t realize it. But all I had to do was barely bend that one side mount the other direction and it’s been fine ever since. Not a huge issue by any means, it was just something I noticed.
All that said, I am very pleased with this mount, and would certainly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t want to drill through their bumper. Also, if anyone is wondering, the plate I have on my truck is a novelty one....it’s the plate on the squad car from the Andy Griffith Show (I’m a big fan)

Thanks for the feedback Codie. No, you did not install it incorrectly. Each of these brackets is made by hand and because of that have human inaccuracies built in. There are times in which the plate will sit ever so slightly off. Bending it slightly is exactly what I tell customers to do in the instructions. Usually there is no adjustment necessary but if needed typically the adjustment is small and quick. I don’t know for sure but I suspect many customers do exactly what you did.

And while I am not a huge Andy Griffith fan a think the plate looks great! Thanks again for the purchase!

These are the best no drill option I’ve seen on the 3rd gen while putting the plate where it should be. PM sent!
