1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

The awesome thing about Moab and surrounding, well mostly surrounding nowadays (it turned into a tourist town) but outside of town there is plenty of camping and wheeling. Like the Needles District. That would be a blast to have a group running through there. Though I get people are gonna wanna crawl the slick rock. The San Rafael swells and the LA Sal mts are awesome for wheeling and camping as well oh but you're Tundra will be fine. No need to beat it up, the good thing is the slick rock wheeling is generally slow controlled type of stuff. Not typical to break stuff unless you break traction etc. Slickrock made noobs like me look like pros 15 years ago first time I went. You'll love it man! It's such a blast to wheel down there

 

I think he's got an old CJ5, like late 70s or early 80s with a built small block? Don't memba, but a wheeler but it needs wiring I think. An almost completed wheeler

i hear its possible to do that with rev-matching? but i would not have the first clue how to do that!

 

I taught my boys how to do that on the old 95 F-150. It would let you do that without too much trouble.

 

On one of the trips to the Pismo dunes with the boys, I guess Sperruner just smooooooked his clutch. Just burned off a bunch of the friction material. It still runs and performs great still for him today. But it made for some great forum material
Some say that with the right ocean breeze you can still pick up a faint whiff of that glorious smell

Same here. I got through my discovery phase somewhere between 12 and 16. :-D I lived out way way out in the country where there was no sheriff around to check a drivers license. Though I did get license at 14 that was an actual license that I kept until I was 18. The good old days of "no photo" paper licenses.

 

i think the only risque thing i may have done was buy the JL lube crew some beer after work once in awhile from the up the street liquor store when i was 18 or 19 with no ID shown
