What do you recommend for a tonneau cover?

    DIY Tonneau, Toolbox, Lift, TRD Wheels, TRD Grill
    If you are in no hurry, keep an eye out for OEM. They are $200 to $400.

    Only downside is you have to cut the rail covers, but small price to pay.

    If you decide to buy a hard top, I love my Encore and it's similar to Backflip.

    I like mine so far. Only complaint was all the metal shavings in my box. Been a great cover so far.

    I like my Bakflip MX4. Sits flush, I can hide my mountain bike under it, I can travel with stuff in the back without worrying about anything blowing out or getting wet in the rain, and my bed tent fits over it.

    Diamondback all the way, if you want to spend the cash. Thing is indestructible, and being able to load whatever you want on top of it is awesome!

    I second the Tyger Soft Tri-Fold. Bought it for $130, off of Amazon. Took me about 45 mins to install,but it was still very easy. It all really depends on how much you want to spend. For me right now,it made sense to get something a little cheaper. If I had the money,I'd get a BakFlip MX4. Love the look of them,I just couldn't dish out that much right now but still needed something sturdy. This still looks good,keeps out the weather,and I'm sure it'll last me a while

    So I used the existing holes and use my bed mats weight on top of it to keep it somewhat in place. Also the tie down for the 6’ bed doesn’t have to be removed like the short beds so I ran the tube through there. So far so good from what i’ve seen. The Retrax drain tube diameter is much larger than the drain hole in the bed just a heads up.

    The clamps are somewhat different from 2nd to 3rd gen but as long as the bed length is the same, you should just have to order the bolts & clamps needed for the 3rd gen. Would def get with them for confirmation on that, though.

    Hope that helps- I had a lot of questions about the cover too, probably sat on making the move for about a month haha
