Installed some @TOTAL CHAOS Bed Stiffeners. Pretty easy install although it seemed like the right side of my bed wasn't square from the factory :/ Left side lined up perfectly. You can definitely tell a difference in sturdiness by shaking the bed before and after, it's solid now!

I think it works for both JBL and non JBL set up, the difference is adjusting for the dip switch setting on the video interface unit.

Which one did you get (link) and how was the install? Does it fit snug against the truck and are you satisfied?

in mine, yeah there are some gaps but that was me not knowing 100% where to cut but what's done is done and i'm still happy with it.

my advice is, measure once and cut closer and closer to were your line is set. fit the bumper on, check and see what needs to be removed and keep going. you can screw back in the plastic bumper screws on the sides and the wheel well together to keep it from moving out.

another piece of advice is to put the front grille back before tightening the bumper to the frame. since it's a bit of an ass to stick back on if you have the front bullbar

Some say it's not as sturdy as OEM but I can't say one way or another I bought it mainly for looks and it's sturdy and solid enough for me. Installation was simple. Instructions are good enough. One of the bolt had a serious manufacturing defect and is unusable. Got to find another. It's a stainless steel Torx bolt. Would I buy again? Most definitely, well worth 100 bucks.

Nice. Me too. I notice the harassment for installing those is way down. Because maybe they work. Especially long beds. Mine have yet to get in the way.

it's a bit of a bitch to get it on. i had tightened everything up and went to pull the front grille in and it wasn't a pleasant time getting it back on. had to loosen the entire bumper a bit just to make enough room. Thankfully the next time i will be pulling that grille off is when i decide to toss a winch in. but that wont be for some time

Glad you're satisfied. Been looking at racks including OEM but don't like the price Toyota wants. Were there ant gaps between thd rack and roof after everything was tightened up? Have seen some people have issues with non OEM racks. Thanks
