Yep that looks good! That Puyallup Toyota online site has everything & the best prices. I've gotten quite a few things there & always good dealing with them

    Thanks Mr. B

While I like the pro grille look, I think it is a little worn out now. Almost every Tacoma I see around my world has the Pro grille. I think doing what you did, with the black surround bezel in black is a decent and definitely an affordable option. Not really fond of the color match surround trim look either. It makes the grill look smaller to me.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up !

Looks fantastic Mr. B... LOVING the blacked out headlights !! Are those Pro housings or DIY ?

Here is my 18, just picked it up Thursday, used with 6000 miles on it.... I think it's pretty much loaded, it seems to have most of the bells and whistles. Pretty stoked with it so far. The thing is for all intents and purposes brand new. The original purchasers wife hated it when he brought it home, so she nagged him enough to trade it in for a crossover. From what I am told, he took a bath on the trade in because I basically stole the thing compared to the other 15 I looked at over a 2 week period. I think the dealership rolled over $7,000.00 into his new car price, which he then leased to keep the payments in the same ball park.

I feel bad for the guy, but I feel really good for me. Sometimes it pays to be patient when shopping. This deal fell into my lap, but i had to drive 60 miles to get it. Small price to pay for the exact truck I wanted.

P.S. when I got done inking the deal, I drove the truck to the nearest uhaul and rented a car carrier, drove back to the dealership, loaded my Suby onto the carrier and towed my car home with my new truck.... The dealership had never experienced that before... I was quite the "celebrity" that day.... They were all standing outside watching me drive my STi up on to a car carrier, locking it down and driving away....LOL.

Thanks man! Those are DEPO aftermarket from UniqueStyleRacing. Just about done blacking out the chrome now

Looks good I would just get the SR black trim piece instead of plastidipping or painting the chrome one. That stuff always gets dinged up on the front of the truck & will show the chrome through in no time

@MrBrooks Thanks for the tip brother. I got my SR bezel from my local dealer for the same price as ordering online (having a friend that works there helps) and just installed it today. Simple, reasonably affordable and DEFINITELY cleans up the front of the truck quite a bit.

I haven’t been keeping up. What is a fair price for an OEM Pro grill woth OEM garnish? I bought them before the prices got stupid and put it on my sr5. Has 3k miles on it and is in perfect condition.

Super easy install man. There are dozens of youtube vids on how to remove the grill, so just find the one that makes the most sense to you.

I did not break a single tab taking the chrome on off or putting the black one on and I just watched some random vid on how to pull the grill.
Once you get the full grill off the truck, just lay an old blanket out on the tailgate and lay the grill face down on the blanket or beach towel.
Then, remove all the screws from the back side, then carefully release one corner of the trim piece tabs then work your way around slowly to get the chrome on off.
The new one pops in place just as easy.

    Good luck with it! !!

How did you get the washers off the grille? Mine came with the insert in place for a pre-2018 truck with no sensor. Need to take that off to get the garnish in. Wondering how to take the washers off and if they can be reused on the garnish or if I need to buy some new ones.

Best bet is to buy replacement washers,
pry up the washers enough to get a pair of dikes under and cut them off. Use a deep socket to push the new washers on.
