Currently sitting on 285/75/16 Stt Pro and after deciding I will be taking the jump to 315s after installing my 5.29s, I’m curious is my 16x8 -12 Ray10s will provide enough offset to clear a TC upper.

I’d rather not jump to an f5 -25 to avoid even more rubbing on my cab mount and because I don’t have fender flares - 315s will already be providing plenty of poke. I don’t need any tickets from CHP (or doing damage to someone’s vehicle).

What’s the general consensus? @kennethalan I know you run 16x8 -12 Ray 10s, any issues on the UCA?

Super delicate balance of wheels, tires, cutting, UCAs.

I have had very good results with 16x8 4.5 backspacing wheels.

I’m fully aware of the cutting and balance (already done plenty to stuff 285s on stock suspension with minor rubbing on cab mount still at full lock), I was just curious what the minimum negative offset is to clear aftermarket UCAs (TC/Camburg) with 315s.

If I can clear it with my -12 16x8 I don’t see a point of grabbing F5s, it’ll only make rub worse on the other end of the spectrum.

But you answered my question, sort of, with 4.5 back spacing. SCS wheels? Thanks

When I first put my tires on, I put spacers on at the same time because I figured I needed to push the wheel out father. It didn’t work at all, I took the spacers off, ran 0 offset 4.5 backspacing and I honestly think it’s the perfect set up (for me). Running falkon wildpeaks, not quite STT beef, but I feel like the tire is as centered as it could get.

I could see the STT possibly rubbing the UCA. I have about half an inch clearance currently with icon billet delta joints.

I have actually been looking at STTs, I may be running them early next year.
