what’s up tacomaworld, I am finally getting around to starting a build thread for my 2nd gen tacoma. It has been a dream of mine for the last three years to build this truck to where it is and I can’t thank you guys enough for all the info/advice that have helped me along the way.

“Sasquatch” was built with the idea of continuing to spend as much time as I can in the woods, camping, and enjoying the best of Mother Nature with my wife and two stepkids. Making memories and getting young teenagers off their phones, out of cell service and seeing how beautiful these lands can be. The truck was built to be dependable, reliable and self sufficient with a few fun goodies here and there.

After countless wheeling and camping trips the call was finally made. The drop bracket just wasn’t cutting it anymore and it had to go. Time for the suspension build!

Along with the above parts all new oem lca’s were installed along with energy suspension steering rack bushings, inner and outer tie rods, and cv’s

No, coilovers do not have that amount of preload on them now. Came shipped with 600lb springs rather than 700. Have hardly any preload now.

I’m running rigid “radiance” fog cubes. They have the amber backlighting. Will probably switch to baja squadrons down the road to match all my other lights. But for now they work great

Fenders bolted on, thanks to @Ripcord great write up. These are so solid now.

Going to do a weld on rear diff skid next, working on getting the swingout ordered and hopefully get everything dialed for summer. Hope you all are staying safe out there with these crazy times.

honestly not bad at all, a little stiff here and there but so much smoother than my old setup. I don’t mind the way it rides at all right now but will only get better once I add weight. My dual swingout should be done this month, then toying with the idea of a shell, so
I’m glad I have them on there.

I have a bed rack and I’ll be getting a RTT. Not sure if I should just get the HD’s or add the AAL to the medium pack
