The batch that was messed up was just a few units, don't worry about that. I'm thinking mine needed to be grinded down just because the 2019 model is slightly different than the 2018. Mine was powder coated, but I did spray the spots that we're grinded down with some black primer to prevent rust

Just to be clear about my previous posts, I am very happy with this bumper and would recommend it to anyone. The final fit and look is great, and it's truly a solid bumper. The bumper itself is completely symmetrical and looks very professionally made. The installation issues I had are pretty minor hiccups and i've been in contact with the dev, he's working on correcting them on all future models. The wait time for it was shorter than projected as well and the dev stayed in contact with me once it was finishing up and through the shipping process.

Other then the couple of fit issues how was the install? Did you have to relocate anything other than the obvious fogs?

It was pretty easy. Instead of removing the grille, I popped out the fog lights and used snips to cut (very far below the actual cut line) the bottom of the bumper out from there. I removed the black wind vent then cut slightly higher (pictured).

I did make some mistakes, though. We cut the black wheel lining too high and I can't bolt it up now, so it's kind of hanging.

My buddy did the actual cut with a air saw, he did a great job. On the driver's side he accidentally cut a little too high though, then the blade wandered a little when he got to the fender flares. In turn my flare is cut up and doesn't fit quite right, looks a little sloppy but I'm working on a solution for that.

    Looking good Frawstme..

For sure it is if not the best looking bumper, it is one of the best.

I would check out T33 Plane Crash outside Boulder. It’s a legit crashed T33. The trail is generally busy with UTVs but a pretty easy-moderate trail. The trailhead is right off of Peaceful Valley campground. You can probably camp there and hit up a few trails in the area or find some camp spots off the trails. T-33 has a few branches like Coney Creek which takes you to Beaver Reservoir, Bruce School, Rock Creek, St Vrain, etc.

Just pulled the trigger on this bumper and I have the SSO bumper now. Decided to go with this over stage 2 so hoping install is pretty straightforward

I just got a 2019 TRD Off Road and wondered how this bumper would look on a stock set up? I plan to add a suspension lift and 33s later as funds become available. Any thoughts

Is there a 30inch light bar cutout option? I would like to retain my bd s8 if I swap to this.

Just watched the install video, seems pretty straightforward. I'm curious how the fog lights are mounted?

There’s a metal tab up overhead with slots so you can mount fog light brackets
