I'm using a full set too.

I took it a step further and sewed the foot end of the flat sheet to the fitted sheet so it will never come untucked and leave me with cold feet!

I haven’t slept with head at cab yet, but will try it.
Mostly I set it up this way because it’s easy to pull the mattress towards the rear and leave a gap to store the pillows when closed. Also yes, all bedding stays on when closed.

Folks with fold-away-able tables/desks, what did you use? I know at some point in this thread I saw a picture with one. I need some ideas.

I know some have adapted one of these for use pretty successfully.

I also think a version of this GG bench/table set up for the Habitat could be accomplished depending on if you went with windows or not.

I had the thought this morning of using the (re)movable bed panel to set down low into a table OR bench inside the truck bed...

Combined with the GG bench seats, I think I would use the bed extension as a table, but it may be too deep (rotated 90 degrees from normal use)

Good God.. will pass on the GG, $950 option.

I think that Laguna option is the one I've seen people using. Anyone have some images to share?

Yeah, the GG stuff is a bit pricy... but for those with table top CNC machines... ... :anonymous:
It's time for me to start my cardboard aided designs for my minimal build-out / mobile office.

    Just the basics
The Lagun table mount is great. I put one in my FWC and used it often. Definitely a good item to have in a pop-up.

Most GG stuff is crazy expensive and can be done on your own if you have the time/energy to do so. Tnutz and 80/20 are options that will probably be cheaper than GG. Just make sure you measure more than three times before you order.

I just have a little camp chair that goes on top of my built-in storage to make the bed extension perfect desk height.

So I made a baseplate today for my fridge slide and maybe build some storage boxes in the future. Went to the lumber shop and got a 1/2” 5'x5' birch.

How are people bolting their baseplate down to the bed of the truck? I noticed there are 3 drainage holes at the rear of the bed towards the cab. I am thinking I can use 10 mm side bolts there. One hole the gas tank is blocking so I will not use that one. Not sure how I can secure the front of the baseplate near the tailgate?

Also I am thinking of getting this thing Line X'ed. Goosegear uses Line X for their baseplates. Want to have the baseplate waterproof as much as possible. Want to get a wood router also and make the front lip a 45 degree slope so I don't snag things when loading stuff inside.

I did like a couple others and utilized the bed mounting bolts to secure my baseplate. If you check out my build thread there are some pics, but I’m just using the front two and middle two bolts. Been driving around like that for a month or so and it’s stayed secure w/ no issues. You just have to support under the holes w/ washers to keep things tight when you torque them down.

Also, I got a quote to get mine line x’d as well and they wanted $250. In other words I’m probably going to by a DIY kit and coat it myself.

I love all the well thought out builds, but just wanted to put this out there for anyone stressed about their camper interior...

I built my “cubbies” out of POS plywood laying around the garage and didn’t waterproof it or anything. I’ll eventually redo it with better materials, but it’s been holding up just fine after over a year in the truck. That included a very snowy winter with lots of ski gear and quite a few desert trips this summer/fall. Also, it’s baby approved.
