I am going to get around to converting it over one of these days, complete kits are around $750 and can get 10% off during sales like black Friday for example. Yeah it did blow nice and cold for many years, had it charged once or twice along the way.

 

I would love to find one of those green "Soda Edition" cars with the white leather, in stick shift form, and do to it what you've done to your car!

 

Yes those 7-UP cars are super cool, would be a lot of fun.

 

Could you get one with a manual transmission?

 

From what I remember you can, they were originally making those cars for some sort of promotion or give away with 7-UP and something went wrong so they just ended up turning them into a special edition and selling them.

 

Another dream vehicle of mine would be to combine a Dodge Dakota convertible with a Shelby Dakota!

 

I remember seeing those brand new on the Dealer lots back in Pittsburgh.

 

Both convertible and Shelby?

 

I remember seeing the Convertibles and the Shelby's, not sure if any were Shelby Vert's but there was one with a loud green paint job so I am assuming it probably was a Shelby.

 

I know there never were any Shelby convertibles...

I'd want to combine two shitty trucks and build a one-of-one custom!

I think I remember the Shelby's having some sort of roll bar looking part on the back of the cab or beginning part of the bed.

 

Verts had the 3.9L V6, the version that made only 125HP.

 

That is not too inspiring in the HP department. I am trying to go by memory with them, it was probably 30 years ago when I saw them new at the Dealership.

The Shelby was created because Carroll himself was fed up with the six gerbils in exercise wheels under the hood of his brand new pickup (as in his personal vehicle). He put a 318 in place of the shitty V6...

Also, this totally random, but my neighbor just attempted to Facetime me three times in a row. She's apparently at this nightclub around the corner from our house; Problem is I don't feel like Facetiming in my pajamas or going to a bar at 12:30am when it's this cold out...

When we we moved to Whidbey Island in 2000, our 1996 Pathfinder was shipped to Seattle. This was a 2-hour drive ONE WAY. I was only 11 and my parents didn't feel comfortable leaving me alone yet. I remember throwing an absolute fit because I couldn't comprehend why I had to go with my parents "just to pick up the stupid Pathfinder". I lost that argument, but my mom rented me some movies to watch in the conversion van on the way down to Seattle.
