I'll have to disagree on the jumbo side, I think he still brings a lot to the ice, and is mostly worth the price. I don't think we could've replaced him for the money.

Insert letting pav go and I'd agree totally.

    Asshole.

I'd love to get back there during the season, but only time I can really travel is summer. Might have to make a trip to Nashville.

Hutchinson is the worst goalie in the league. Has to be his last game

Annnnnnnnnnd Hutchinson is waived. Dubas has fucked the backup situation again two years in a row costing points. He is 100% at fault here.
Feel bad for Hutch. He even says it's his fault. Not like sparks last year blaming others. His career is basically over now.

Hutch played a really good stretch in the middle of last year for the leafs and had a decent save percentage. I'm not throwing Dubas under the bus on this one. I'm not sure how a player can blame a GM for his play. Hutch needed to replicate his rebound from last year and instead went into the same rut as he did with the Panthers.

Also save percentage this year is the shit. I mean goaltending has been pretty brutal up to this point. Not that it should excuse Hutch but it's not like Dubas had a ton of good cheap options out there that would of likely panned out better. The Sparks situation is different but we've been through that a few times.

On a side note Don Cherry finally got himself fired. That was strike number four or five lol. I was a bit surprised they didn't use the tape delay to cut him off, even Ron seemed a little shocked and motioned to the crew to see if they were still on air late in the rant.

I dont agree with it at all. Hes right that everyone should wear a poppy. This came just recently after its been reported lowest numbers of poppies being giving pit in Toronto because people dont buy them.it doesnt take a genus to see who is not wearing them, and most are younger generation and immigrants.that's just facts not opinions.
He did say it in a poor way but that's on sportsnet for letting him word it like that. Fuck them, I'll never watch another thing from them again

If he had made his comments about all people in general who aren't buying the poppies instead of singling out immigrants, he would've been fine I bet.

Sorry boys , I liked Coach's Corner , especially how he would take time to honour first responders killed in the line of duty or our fallen soldiers while we were in Afghanistan but how can you be surprised at the end result after what was said ?

Settle folks lol, I was simply bringing up the subject. Honestly I think Sportsnet was looking for a reason to dump grapes. Hockey wise he's out of touch and has been for years, also they have a tape delay and chose not to use it. They wanted him gone and this was an easy out. Grapes hung himself and he'll show up somewhere else for anyone who wants his brand of commentary.

Literally ever game is Sportsnet/CBC during the finals. Good luck with following through with that lol. I'm excited to see who they bring in now. Personally I actually like Rhett Warrener locally, he could be good. Sadly I bet they stick Burke in :annoyed:
