Ahhhh, finally got the sliders installed (well last Sunday - been busy as heck since).

 

Same here but hers is silver Runner.

 

2 hours from start to finish by myself, not a hard install at all. Next project, this for a long weekend for sure.

Got the rotopax mounted up and will switch the sides when the other comes in. Also found a way to mount the farm jack

 

We were glad to see and hear from you there at SEMA @Rob Daman! You were one of the few that posted regularly, so not really sure where the comment about the non stop SEMA youtubers is coming from?

Even IF there was two weeks of SEMA threads, it would be a nice break from all the "what size tires can I fit" or "what lift to get" threads. The good news is you can also decide NOT to open the SEMA threads.

Cali raised LED setup for me today. Start to finish maybe 45 mins. Excellent product.

 

Well technically yesterday...Borla black tip exhaust and K&N drop in filter. Sounds great. Pretty subtle and was super easy to install by myself.

 

Glad to see you were able to get your truck in there. I'd love to be able just to go to it much less have one of my vehicles in there. I think yours fit right in.

 

Let us know how you like your Borla. Is it catback?

 

yeah it’s a cat back. It’s definitely more quiet than I expected but I didn’t want it to be obnoxious either. The truck feels more responsive and in a weird way, seems to coast easier on the freeway so I’ll probably pickup an additional Mpg or two. I should know more after I do my usual commute to work.

 

Put footwell lights on the other side of the Meso shifter. Had the ECT on the left and nothing on the right. Now I have two footwell lights on the right one.

Give it a few days and it'll break in and get more grunt. My first impression when i installed mine was that I was disappointed with how quiet it was. 2 days later it became perfect!

 

TOTS. Like the sound of my wife's taco pro. So do you recommend getting the TRD exhaust or the borla?

 

From what i understand the TRD exhaust is made by Borla. I can only speak to what I know and thats the Borla. I love it.

Sound is perfect, deeper and throaty but not obnoxious or boy racerish. I had an MBRP on my 09 taco and it sounded terrible.. loud and raspy, the borla is moderate in loudness but deep in tone if that makes sense.
