I haven’t yet. I’ll keep an eye on it but I drive bumpy roads very often and haven’t seen any probs yet. Is the bulb falling out after install?

The drivers side is solid but the one on the passenger side is driving me crazy. Last time I took it apart and re crimped everything. I think iI s just luck of the draw. I will contact the seller and see about it. I love the lights there. So much easier than some of the other methods I saw. They are bright and look great.

Thanks, I just did that on this last go around. Fingers crossed. The other side has not budged once.

Maybe try wrapping a safely wire around it to help lock it in. Mine haven't budged.

Blech! I guess for DD stuff it would work instead of tearing up the expensive OR tires. Maybe if the wheels were black or bronze or something.

Yep, all the miles DD is exactly why I went this route. I put just over 65K on my AT KO2s and while they probably have another 5-8k worth of tread, I don’t wanna risk it on the freeway anymore. I’ll save what’s left in those for trail days.
I also am considering a color change. Was thinking gun metal or bronze.

It’s definitely growing on me. Funny you say that cause I have noticed a lot of 1st Gens around here with newer model Taco or 4R wheels. These are off a ‘19 T4R.

This post is just to help me remember the product more than anything because it worked really well.

You get a chance to dig around to figure out why your front axle isn't engaging?

Not definitively yet. I discussed the process of elimination I’ve already completed with an ASE Cert Toyota mechanic and he suggested the actuator is the culprit.

He offered to bench test it because there is a electrical connection that is known to fail. He will check it out for me but the truck will need to be down for that process as I won’t be able to drive it with the actuator removed. I’m going to try to get it all done on Tuesday.

I scored a sweet deal on some RotoPax goodies from @Dudeman86
Only took a few minutes to reconfigure what I had going on back there. Now I’ve got two locking mounts for gasoline and one non-locked mount for water. I figure if someone needs gasoline they should pay for it but if someone needs my water, they can have it. I’m a nice guy like that.

They do dim with the factory dimmer dial.
They are super bright though so I’m running them at the dimmest setting just before they turn off. Maybe check these out before you buy them. Maybe if it’s still too bright we can find a lower lumen LED

Battery light turned on during the commute home from Phx. Stayed solid for about 10 minutes and then shut off. The advice I’ve received so far is that my alternator brushes are failing. Drove the truck around all day today and the light never came back on. I went ahead and bought the brushes anyway since I was less than 10 minutes away from Camelback Toyota.

Fixed the alternator issue today. I followed the video by @Timmah! and didn’t have any issues. It was actually a little bit easier for me than what he described. Anyway I’m sure this was what was causing my Battery light to come on.
